That's so sad!!! I guess there is some economical & marketing reason behind this decision, but it still is sad. I've been postponing buying films for ages, as I have already an older Polaroid camera and now it is almost too late (I assume by digging really hard on the internet there are some stocks where films can still be found). Polaroid photos/techniques were so versatile and easy to be creative with. What can I say; just hope they will come with a replacing idea just as brilliant as the instant films.
Above some pics of ways Polaroid photos have been used to embellish or just to organize homes.

I hope I'll get a camera and some film for Christmas... I keep sending hints to my hubby about that ;)
I don't see myself wallpapering a room with polaroids but I would reproduce that hear headboars or those pics on a string...
